| THE KRIDER RACING MANTRA: If it has wheels, it should be raced. If it is raced is should be raced W.F.O. If you need W.F.O. explained to you, you should probably get back into your minivan and steer clear because Krider Racing is coming through! |

| Krider Racing is a family team of racers which are involved in different types of motorsports. It all began with the birth of James Krider who was rumored to have been conceived in the back seat of a Ford. His birthday, March 8th, (3/8) is where the Krider Racing car number, #38, originated from. James Krider survived racing circle tracks long enough to have three sons, Jim, Mark, and Chris. James Krider often times during a race used the roof of his car for wheels. His boys obviously grew up in an automotive environment. As kids, the boys raced everything from slot cars, Pinewood Derby, to Soap Box Derby. When the boys became old enough to drive they drag raced, autocrossed and entered rallyes. In a world where many racers focus on one type of motorsport, the Kriders enjoyed competing in all types of motorsports. Jim Krider road raced and competed in go-carts. He had two sons, Rob and Randy. Rob and Randy also grew up in an automotive themed household racing anything they could get their hands on as kids from R.C. cars to bicycles. As they got to the driving age they also graduated to drag racing, autocrossing and rallyes. Jim and Rob competed as a father and son team in the 2004 Silver State Classic. Rob's children, Gus and Addy, compete in Soap Box Derby. The Krider multi-series racing tradition continues from generation to generation. If it has wheels on it, the Kriders are probably there, racing the wheels right off it. All Krider Racing cars have been hand built and/or tweaked and modified by the Kriders in the Krider Racing Speed Shop. The Krider Racing Speed Shop sounds impressive but it only consists of a two car garage filled to the brim with old car parts and a set of Costco sockets. The Krider family is by no means the same as the Andretti family, the Kriders are taller. The Kriders are not like the Pettys either, because unlike the Petty Family, each generation of Kriders have been winners. The Kriders just enjoy racing, even if it is bench racing. And some days when the tires are worn down to the cords, and the money is gone, there is a lot of bench racing going on in the garage. |
